The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) requires BC public bodies to develop a Privacy Management Program (PMP). The School District's PMP comprises existing Board Policies and Administrative Practices.

Personal information may be collected through video surveillance on school buses and district buildings. This collection is authorized under the School Act and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and used to enhance safety and protect students, staff, and district property.
